1. Layer – Ducks begins when they are 5.5 months – 3 years old
2. Put the ducks in the cage at night and let them out in the yard at daytime
3. Give the ducks an alternative food every morning and noon as much as 150 grams/duck/day
4. Keep the cage dry and make sure that there is no puddle other than around the pond

Caring for Laying Age – or usually called Layer – Ducks begins when they are 5.5 months – 3 years old. It is done as follows:
1 Move the ducks from growing cage to Rim cage which has a yard with a population density of 9 – 10 ducks per square metre (the cage that has been built in Step 2).
2 Put the ducks in the cage at night and let them out in the yard at daytime.
3 Drinking water should be available at all times and needs to be kept clean and dirt-free.
4 Give the ducks an alternative food every morning and noon as much as 150 grams/duck/day.
5 Keep the cage dry and make sure that there is no puddle other than around the pond.
