1. Lift the fish smoothly into the boat
2. Gaff the fish in the head
3. Land on a foam pad, a carpet or a mat
4. Tuna fish grade A has the highest price from other grades
5. All handling process should be done quickly.

When tuna has taken the bait, lift the fish smoothly into the boat. Always gaff the fish in the head. Never gaff the fish in the body, the throat or the heart.
Use two gaffs for big fish; insert the second gaff in the mouth.
Tuna should be killed and pulled to the boat immediately, so Tuna could be handled immediately.
Stun the fish on the head if it is still moving.

The fish should be landed on a foam pad, a carpet or a mat
Tuna fish grade A has the highest price from other grades. If the handling on the boat is poor, then the grade and the price of the tuna will be degraded to grade B and C. Give more attention to the handling while on the boat, because it will significantly affect the quality and price of the fish you receive. All handling process should be done in short time
